The perfect "Chardonnay for Every Day"!
Once the grapes are soft-pressed, 40% of the juice is drawn off
and fermented in barriques for 4-5 months (hence the name "Barricato
40"), then reunited with the stainless steel-fermented
portion. Its intriguing touch of oak is ideally integrated with
fruity, fresh aromas. Versatile, food-friendly, exceptional value.
The firmer, fresher more European style of our
chardonnay make it exceptionally food friendly. Try Bollini Chardonnay
Barricato 40 with fried or roasted chicken, veal marsala and turkey.
Bollini Chardonnay is also an especially delicious compliment to
rich seafood and lobster, and scallops bring out the best in this
wine.
